Disney’s Christmas Carol Buzz Begins
The long talked about Disney adaptation of Dicken’s A Christmas Carol — directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Jim Carrey — will debut (in part) at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18th.
The film is slated for general theatrical release on November 6, 2009 and will be a 3-D animation work along the lines of Polar Express. It stars Carrey in the leading role of Ebenezer Scrooge supported by Gary Oldman as Bob Cratchit and Colin Firth as nephew Fred.
