Sixteen years ago Mariah Carey released was has proven to be one of the most popular Christmas albums of all time, simply titled “Merry Christmas”. Now she is about to release a new one. On November 10th Carey’s label will release a new holiday CD featuring six new songs and an all new mix of her classic hit “All I Want for Christmas is You”.
Carey’s career has dimmed in recent year and some music industry insiders think a new Christmas album can renew interest in the artist.
